A love for the image and the story behind it.

Hellene grew up in a design driven family home in Auckland, New Zealand. Her first camera was a Nikon F65 gifted to her from her parents as she headed around the world as a teenager. This fostered a love for design and aesthetics, black and white photography and compelling images that has pushed her photography from a project, to a passion, to a profession.

Since moving to Sydney in 2008, Hellene has worked as a studio manager for Mondo Digital and CI Studios. These roles have firmly cemented her understanding of the processes, rigor, communication and adaptability required to produce the most stunning product for her demanding clientele.  She is currently working hard; shooting, operating and assisting in advertising and editorial in Sydney, throughout Australia, China, the Maldives, and Bali.
